RELATIVES GET INFORMATION ABOUT HIJACKED CREW MEMBERS ONBOARD MV ROYAL GRACE; UNCONFIRMED REPORTS SAYS VESSEL IS RELEASED ALREADY.
Ottappalam, Kerala, India: Family members of crew members who were on board the hijacked cargo vessel MV Royal grace gets news from the crewing agency regarding their wards held captives by Somalian pirates.The Dubai based chemical tanker was on her way from Sharjah to Nigeria while the incident took place.The report was earlier published in Cowsegg but most of the details were unknown.Ambalapparayil Midhum, Stanley Vincent and Dibin Davis of Kerala have been confirmed to be among the victims.They were on their first ever voyage and are said to have just passed out from Eurotech Kochi.
                  Almost 24 Indians are suspected to be among the crew.The vessel is owned by a Nigerian national who is also believed to be onboard.Mr.Midhun (deck cadet) had called his mother on February end and told that he wont be able to contact for 45 odd days as he was heading to Nigeria.His family were informed of the hijack only after a month of the incident.His anxious mother had requested the chief minister of Kerala to take necessary action to save her son.He used to work for a Mumbai based vessel and had recently joined the present company.
                  The company officials reassured the next of kins of the captives that negotiations have began and a solution will be found soon Meanwhile unconfirmed reports of the vessel being released is also on air.
