Dubai: The Dubai based oil tanker M T Royal Grace which was hijacked two weeks ago with 22 crew members gets anchored in the Somalian coast says report. This confirms the speculations regarding the piracy attack once the vessel went missing. The Dubai flagged vessel which was registered in Panama had been missing since March 2nd.Meanwhile a Somalian newspaper published a report which states about the confirmation of the attack conducted by armed pirates. Both the Somalian pirates and their useless government confirmed the identity of the vessel.
Details regarding the abducted crew are still not clear enough.Seven Indians including Vipin Davis of Kerala are reported to be on board. The others are from Pakistan and Nigeria. The Maritime security bureau meanwhile left reports of 21 vessels and 289 captives altogether being in the hands of Somalian pirates. The ultra poor African nation of Somalia is becoming a global threat to the shipping industry. Most of the attacks are sponsored by the terrorist reign of the nation. They are reported to harass detained seamen without proper food and water for days and months together.
The Americans and the other world powers should do something about Somalia instead of digging fruitlessly in Afghanistan. The world peace and justice is challenged so vehemently by these illiterate men.Where is everybody? What the hell is all this? Who will guarantee the safety of poor seamen?
